MN Própolis was founded in 1992. However, the research and the product development started in 1986. By 1992, MN Propolis' products had already achieved an international quality standart and let the company to get the Export Certification by Brazilian Ministry of Agriculture. In the same year, MN Propolis started to export to Japan.

Over the past years, MN Propolis has been developing new products and improving it's quality by investing in high technology and laboratory analysis equipment. As a result, MN Propolis has been exporting more than 90% of its production to Japan, China, Korea, Germany, United States, England among others.

Today, MN Propolis Group is composed of:

MN Propolis factory ( 4000 m 2 of constructed area);

Cetal – Laboratory Food Control (1,600m 2 of constructed area). Cetal is one the most advanced laboratories of the country (most of the equipment are from Shimazu/Japan);

Two Organic apiaries (certified by IBD and USDA), where the first is located in Paraibuna/São Paulo (MNH Apiculture Research Center I – 600 acres) and the other located in Juiz de Fora/Minas Gerais (MNH Apiculture Research Center II – 200 acres).
